A Series about Limerence
A while ago on Medium, I wrote a 16-part series about an older man who cheats on the wife he genuinely loves with a much younger woman who also happens to be his friendās daughter!
To my surprise, it attracted a lot of readers. The feedback was interesting too: what people enjoyed wasnāt the affair itself, but the way I explored limerenceāthat overwhelming, obsessive infatuation that can completely take over your thoughts.
The story is really about whatās happening inside the cheating guyās head: the obsession, the rationalisations, the guilt, and the constant internal conflict. Because that was always the focus, there isnāt actually much explicit sex in the series.
Iāve recently gone back to revise it for Substack. Iāll be publishing the updated version here, staying true to the psychological journey that made the series resonate with so many readers.
Alongside it, Iāll also be publishing additional, BRAND NEW, explicit episodes that fit naturally into the main storyline.
